Hello there and thank you for visiting my portfolio site!

I was born in Germany in 1984 and have a degree in Graphic and Media Design.

I work as a graphic designer, writer, photographer and illustrator since 2004 and my portfolio consists of clients such as Grey Global Group, BMW, Nokia, LG, Sony Ericsson, Playstation, Tommy Hilfiger, and many more.
My illustrations were featured in magazines like GLAMOUR and LUCKY.
I’m also running Love, Nela a design collection featuring paper treasures, fabrics and accessories.

I love to mix all medias: watercolors with vectors, hand drown pattern with modern typography, hand lettering with photography.
My big theme is always colors and inserting something into something else celebrating all the world’s hues and life’s simple pleasures.

Since two years I live in a beach town in Southern California while still being the Fräulein from Bavaria.
